To promote and evangelize “Love for Karachi” I have created first version of “I Love Karachi” banners. Whether you’re in Karachi or not, you can use any of these banners. More banners plus variations may be coming soon. Spread Love, Not Hatred. Say NO to Injustice, corruption and hatred.

Why I created these Banners?
In my understanding, Love is ever too great and powerful and forgiving as to let go of your false ego, your fears and insecurities. When you say I love Karachi, you are determined to seek every possible way to keep your city healthy, peaceful, good place to live and grow together etc… That’s the idea of Love towards your city, people and country, of course.
Loving Karachi, in my sincerest hopes, will instill a pride among its users to bring about a positive and healthy change and most importantly “tolerance” towards others. The stronger your tolerance level will be, the weaker your enemies’ ambitions and their cruel natures will succumb to the democracy of people and their deepest desire of living happily and freely without any fear.
When I say, I Love Karachi, I make an oath to myself, I make a commitment to myself that I will not let any negative force come between my integrity, my right of freedom and respect and my inalienable right of happiness and the prosperity of my city. That was the general idea, which, thanks to you, have come into words now.
It’s just a banner/button after all. It may well be just an idea. But underneath it is a lot more than just an idea. It takes a heart to see another one.

K.A.L.H
I have been observing the politics of karachi with an intent for over a year now. I have realised that the root of all the problems that our city faces is jhalat, be it the 5/12 incident or a normal day to day traffic jam. Most of these problems are man created and one of the major causes for this is the lack of education and common sense.
This Social-Enterprise aims to get rid of this JHALAT that exist by educating the citizens about the problems, K.A.L.H aims to empower youth, by providing them with a platform where they can express themselves. K.A.L.H wants to abridge the gap that exists between the social classes in the city by creating job oppurnities and by trying to get rid of corruption.K.A.L.H would try and improve the infrastructure of the city by educating the citiznes on how to make they most of what they have and by rasing funds for the goverment to improve the infrastructure, not only that K.A.L.H would focus particular attention on the sports and recreational activites. This is going to be a long and trying process, we will need to be patient but once we have achived it , karachi we love is going to be back.

Dr Mr Ansari,
Thank you for visiting the blog and leaving your kind comments. I totally understand the inability of a common man (who usually would get out and kill or be killed at worst cases) to judge, think rationally much because of lack of good education.
Could you tell us more about K.A.L.H. I am sorry but I don’t think I have heard of this name before?

Thanks to you and many others who inspired this quick job. I probably could seek some funds to make car-stickers and t-shirts (not sure about the t-shirts though) as well. The banners are non-proprietary and have no alignment with any political or religious party. Anyone can replicate the idea whether or not he is living in Karachi or not.
I am also truly concerned and worried that most of the net-users of Pakistan, as you must have also observed, could easily understand the low-mentality, the dirty techniques of violent mob but the real people who actually go out to protest, stage rallies, create violence or be killed are the people who lie in the lowest common denominator. The people who earn not more than 3000-4500 a month, have no welfare programe, no entertainment, no social life etc… These embittered people are more volatile to the worsening situation than anyone else. watching Dr Farooq Sattar’s press conference is giving me nightmares already. Right now, my mind is unable to think of some solution but I think if the bloggers really care for Karachi, which I have no doubt about their love and honesty, the real championing case would be to reach out to these Lowest Common Denominators. hmmm more laters.
