A recommendation by this , Break Away by has already won her two , best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Kelly Clarkson beat out singers including Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow and Paul McCartney to become the first contestant from “American Idol” to win a Grammy Wednesday, but she failed to thank the wildly popular TV talent show that made her famous.
On a sidenote, not to upset U2, but did someone feel excited about the ‘Record of the Year’? Yeah, . I loved this song actually.

I don’t watch TV much but here’s trivia for those who do. Nearly twice as many people watched “American Idol” than the Grammy Awards Wednesday when the two music programs went head-to-head in prime time, according to preliminary estimates by Nielsen Media Research.

The “Idol” audience on Fox was 28.3 million while the Grammy Awards were being watched by 15.1 million people from 8 to 9 p.m. EST, Nielsen said. LOLs.

Anyways, I liked the lyrics of Kelly Clarkson’s song, Break Away which I am posting below.

Can’t fully comprehend the following lyrics/poetry by Hazrat Rumi but still like to read it over and over again to remind myself of the sweetness that it talks about.

‘Tis said, the pipe and lute that charm our ears
Derive their melody from rolling spheres;
But Faith, o’erpassing speculation’s bound,
Can see what sweetens every jangled sound.
We, who are parts of Adam, heard with him
The song of angels and of seraphim.
Out memory, though dull and sad, retains
Some echo still of those unearthly strains.
Oh, music is the meat of all who love,
Music uplifts the soul to realms above.
The ashes glow, the latent fires increase:
We listen and are fed with joy and peace.
